About this file

This is a mandatory PowerPoint template for proposal summary slides to be used when responding to a DARPA Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) related to the Red-C program. The template requires submissions in Microsoft PowerPoint format with specific file naming conventions ("Organization_Proposal Summary Slide") and formatting requirements including 8-1/2 x 11-inch paper, 1-inch margins, and 12-point font (8-10 point allowed for figures/charts).

The template structure requires sections covering: Technical Approach (including key challenges, innovations, and limitations), Technical Rationale (goals, accomplishments, metrics, and risks), and Team Organization/Milestones/Schedule. It must include a representative graphic of the technical approach, identification of the Prime Contractor and PI (with level of effort percentage), subcontractors, and a cost summary table broken down by program phases. All content must be in English and follow Source Selection Sensitive guidelines per FAR 2.101 and 3.104.

Text version

Source Selection Sensitive – See FAR 2.101 and FAR 3.104 Use of this template is mandatory for all proposal submissions to this Broad Agency Announcement (BAA). Proposers must include all information in the Proposal Summary Slide Template, Proposal Instructions and Volume I Template (Technical and Management), and Proposal Instructions and Volume II Template (Cost) to constitute a full proposal submission.

The DARPA Standard Cost Proposal Spreadsheet is optional, but strongly encouraged. However, if a proposal does not include the DARPA Standard Cost Proposal Spreadsheet, an equivalent Excel document containing access to formulas, and enough information to support the cost proposed must be included as an alternative. Proposals without the DARPA Standard Cost Proposal Spreadsheet will still constitute a full proposal submission.

The Proposal Summary Slide Template must include all components and must be submitted in Microsoft PowerPoint format under the file naming convention “Organization_Proposal Summary Slide”.

All submissions must be written in English, and all pages shall be formatted for printing on 8-1/2 by 11-inch paper with 1-inch margins and font size no smaller than 12-point. Font sizes of 8 or 10-point may be used for figures, tables, and charts.

[Content requirements on the Proposal Summary Slide Template are stated in blue font and should be deleted prior to abstract submission.]
