Applicable to All Vessels:

Work can be performed on NPS/Lake Mead NRA property during weekdays, and hours from after sunrise to before sunset. Vendor can stage work equipment or a mobile workshop (i.e., trailer) at a place convenient to conduct the work (location to be determined at time of work). All boats to be worked on will be placed at work site for selected vendor by NPS personnel. Work shall be done in close proximity to Lake Mead National Recreation Area, if not on Lake Mead NRA property in Boulder City, NV.

All work and installed equipment, accessories, connectors, etc., will be done using parts and techniques that conform to applicable marine standards, such as NMEA, UL, USCG, or any other that apply. All work will leave the vessel with a professional and neat appearance. Previous cut outs in the consoles shall be re-used or covered in a manner that maintains that professional and neat appearance. To the extent possible, the layout of all electronics and controls should be standardized on all like vessels. All wiring will be concealed to the extent possible, using existing passages or conduit to keep it out of view and the elements.

All old equipment will be retained by the NPS for disposal or re-distribution per all applicable policies and regulations. The location to stage the removed equipment will be outlined to vendor at time of work.

All new equipment will be turned on and tested for function. NPS personnel will assist by launching and operating the vessel to test equipment/sensors that only work while the vessel is underway (specifically SONAR). The vendor or their employee(s) should be present for underway testing.
