About this file
Summary of ASCA Standard Terms and Conditions
This document presents the standard terms and conditions established by the Association of School Computer Administrators (ASCA), applicable to the Grants Portal Licensing/Maintenance contract opportunity in Alabama. The contract pertains to sole source licensing and maintenance renewal services, requiring that the vendor be an authorized reseller, distributor, or installer of the specified item or service. The document establishes the foundational contractual framework governing the relationship between the state of Alabama and the selected vendor, outlining the general provisions and operational parameters that will guide the execution of the Grants Portal system maintenance and licensing services.
The standard terms and conditions set forth the administrative, legal, and operational requirements that both parties must adhere to throughout the contract term. These provisions address vendor responsibilities, service level expectations, compliance obligations, and the procedural mechanisms for contract administration and dispute resolution. As a renewal of existing licensing and maintenance services, the terms reflect established practices and expectations for ongoing system support, ensuring continuity of service delivery for Alabama's Grants Portal operations and maintaining alignment with ASCA's consortium standards for member states.
