About this file
This is a Vendor Accessibility Checklist document for the Colorado Small & Medium Building Energy Efficiency & Decarbonization Initiative. The checklist establishes digital accessibility requirements that vendors must meet when providing documents and digital content to the State of Colorado. Vendors are required to demonstrate compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level A and AA standards, with PDF documents meeting PDF/UA compliance standards. The checklist requests vendors document their accessibility commitment through a mission statement and describe their assessment methodologies, which may include automated tools, manual testing, and screen reader software testing such as JAWS, JawsInspect, or CommonLook.
Vendors responding to this contract opportunity must provide a compliance report documenting their accessibility standards for products and services and designate a contact person with phone and email information who can address accessibility questions. The State of Colorado references the Vendor Accessibility Guide and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 as resources for vendors completing the checklist. These accessibility requirements apply to all digital content and documents delivered under the contract, ensuring compliance with applicable and achievable success criteria for non-web information and communication technologies.
