About this file

This is a Vendor Accessibility Checklist document for the State of Colorado related to the CPRG Accelerator Research and Best Practices contract opportunity. The checklist establishes accessibility requirements that vendors must address regarding digital content and products provided to the State. Vendors are required to demonstrate compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level A and AA standards, as well as PDF/UA compliance for PDF documents. The document requests that vendors provide information about their accessibility commitment statements, their methods for assessing and ensuring compliance with accessibility standards, and their ability to provide compliance reports for deliverables.

The checklist includes five key questions vendors must answer: confirmation of an accessibility statement or mission statement; commitment to meeting applicable WCAG 2.1 A/AA success criteria; documentation of compliance assessment methods including use of automated tools and manual testing with screen readers; ability to provide compliance reports; and contact information for the individual responsible for addressing accessibility questions. The document references the Vendor Accessibility Guide and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 as supporting resources for vendors completing the assessment.
