About this file

This is a Vendor Accessibility Checklist for the State of Colorado's CPRG Accelerator Research and Best Practices contract opportunity. The checklist establishes accessibility standards that vendors must meet when providing documents and digital content to the state. Vendors are required to demonstrate compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level A and AA standards, ensure PDF documents meet PDF/UA compliance requirements, and maintain an accessibility statement of commitment regarding their digital accessibility practices. The checklist requires vendors to detail their assessment methodologies for verifying compliance, which may include automated tools, manual testing, or screen reader software such as JAWS, JawsInspect, or CommonLook.

Vendors must be prepared to provide compliance reports documenting the accessibility of products they will create and designate a specific contact individual within their organization with phone and email information to address accessibility-related questions. The checklist references the Vendor Accessibility Guide and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 as resources for vendors responding to this requirement. This accessibility requirement applies to all digital products and non-web information and communication technologies that vendors deliver as part of their work on the Colorado contract opportunity.
