About this file
This document is a Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition (JOTFOC) for the purchase of airport lighting equipment, specifically Flashhead FTB 600 Series Power Converters, Flashhead FTB 600 Series Flashheads, and Flashhead FTS 400/800 Series.
The total estimated cost of this procurement is $61,000. The acquisition will be conducted under the Open Market Program authority of the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act, as the required airport lighting products are commercial items available from a single manufacturer. Due to the specialized nature and compatibility requirements, the agency is restricting consideration to the name brand items. The contracting officer will synopsize the request for quotation (RFQ) through SAM.gov for 7 days to allow vendors quoting the required items to submit quotes. The pricing is determined to be fair and reasonable based on competition among these vendors.
