Amendment 0001

(Continued from page 1)

Installation of the ARRA signs still applies to this solicitation and subsequent award.

4. The contractor shall monitor the water usage from Roberts Lake and report the volume of water used to the Contracting Officer, with copy to the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) upon completion. The Forest Service has secured the approval of 488,777 gallons. The contractor must notify the Contracting Officer in advance if additional water is needed.

5. Sites 55 (mile post 11.63) through 61 (mile post 12.08 - end of project) fall within threatened and endangered (T&E) species habitat. No work shall be performed between sites 55 through 61 from March 1 to August 31. During this same time period, the contractor will be allowed use of NFSR 150 between sites 55 and 61 as long as traffic doesn't exceed normal traffic volumes and vehicle types. Permissible vehicles include one ton (or smaller) pickup trucks, horse trailers, camper trailers and flat-bed utility trailers. Heavy equipment and/or haul vehicles will not be allowed to travel between sites 55 and 61 from March 1 through August 31 unless approvals are received from the Contracting Officer. Currently the Biologists are surveying the area and depending on the results of the survey, the operating restrictions may be lifted.

6. The Presolicitation Notice on the FedBizOpps webpage incorrectly stated the staked depths. It should have read: "with staked depths (3" to 6") and widths established in the roadway” instead of "with staked depths (4" to 6") and widths established in the roadway”.
