Forest Wide Facilities Replacements Site Visit Clarifications Solicitation AG-9702-S-10-0246

1. The contractor is responsible for delivery truck access to the Kaibab Lake campground toilet site. This could include any of the following activities; removal of tree(s), removal and replacement of large barrier rocks, removal or plating of protruding rock(s), trimming of tree limbs.

2. The contractor will be responsible for removal and replacement of all barrier rocks at all the campgrounds as necessary to ensure delivery truck access to the sites.

3. White Horse Lake tent loop will receive a single Cascadian toilet building by CXT Incorporated. White Horse Lake loop D will receive a single Cascadian toilet building by CXT Incorporated. White Horse Lake loop E will receive a double Cascadian toilet building by CXT Incorporated. White Horse Lake group loop will receive a single Cascadian toilet building by CXT Incorporated.

4. Kaibab Lake site will receive a Tioga Special with Chase toilet building by CXT Incorporated.

5. Ten-X site #1 will receive a Rocky Mountain with Chase toilet building by CXT Incorporated. Ten-X site #2 will receive a Rocky Mountain with Chase toilet building by CXT Incorporated. Ten-X site #3 will receive a single Rocky Mountain toilet building by CXT Incorporated.

6. The contractor will be responsible for the pumping of all vaults and composting toilets prior to any demolition taking place.

7. The contractor will need to provide accessible portable toilets at Ten-X campground during construction activities and have them cleaned twice a week during the busy seasons which starts Memorial Day weekend.

8. The contractor may use material out of Holloway Pit off forest road 110 to forest road 147A as backfill material for the demolished toilets at White Horse Lake campground.

9. The contractor will be allowed to camp on site or nearby at all locations.

10. Please replace sheets 10 and 21 of the plans as the coordinates for staking purposes have been revised from grid coordinated to ground coordinates.

11. Contractor’s can access White Horse Lake campground via forest road 141 to forest road 109 to the site. Contractors will be required to walk in from the main gate to the individual sites as needed. It is highly suggest the contractor’s visit this site prior to bidding on the project.

12. The contractor will be responsible for repairs to any and all utilities that are broken during construction activities. All utility locations on the maps are approximate and the contractors should use care in all activities.
