1. Using a XX BAF, sample standing live and dead trees 5.0” DBH/DRC and larger
2. Using 3, 300 th acre plots, sample DBH live trees between 0.1” and 4.9 “ DBH, DBH live trees between 0.5’ and 4.4’ in height, and
DRC live trees between 0.1” and 4.9” DRC
3. On 2, 6 foot transects measure dead down woody material .01 to .24 inches in diameter or .24 to .99 inches in diameter.
4. On 2, 12 foot transects measure dead down woody material 1 to 2.99 inches in diameter.
5. On 2, 50 foot transects measure dead down woody material 3 to 99.9 inches in diameter.
6. On 1, 1/10 acre plots measure vegetation composition by lifeform, and all species listed in Appendix 10.
7. On 1, 1/10 acre plots measure the ground surface cover for all cover types that cover 1% or more of the plot.
