LIST OF CHANGES: The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to the questions that have been asked.
1. Would like to know if water and power will be available for asbestos abatement?
There are no water or electricity services offered at the project site. Due to the location of the project site, there is no opportunity to develop them from local utilities.
The Contractor will be required to provide these services if deemed necessary.
2. As for the air monitoring requirements.

That will be determined after the Contractor submits the Hazardous Material Plan of Action prior to start of demolition/abatement work.
That plan can include any necessary air monitoring methods that the Contractor will use(or lack of methods if the State of Colorado does not require them, with the cited regulation as part of the plan), and must be approved by the
CO prior to work.
3. We would also like to know the approximate location of the guard house.
There is a site map in the drawings posted on
FedBizOpps.gov. There is also a brief description of the work location in the Specs -
Section 01010-1-1.2-A
4. Are electrical power and normal household pressurized water available at the site?
No water or electricity utilities on site.
5. What is the square footage of the building?
What is the sq. ft. of the linoleum in the building?
Square footage of building (all flooring in building is vinyl) is 600 sq. ft. This is on the
Schedule of Items on page 5 of 61 in the
Solicitation.
6. Where is the building located?
A site map is attached to the drawings.
7. Is the building structurally safe for workers to be inside?
As stated in the specs - Section 02221-1-1.6, and the drawings - page 5 of 5, the Government is unsure of the structural condition of the building. The Contractor is required to perform, or to engage a Professional Engineer licensed to practice in Colorado to perform, an engineering survey of the condition of the building to determine its stability. Section 02221 of the specs describes this entire portion of the project.
8. An outside shower with a drain pipe extending underground as well as a water lined coming from below ground into the building were found on site. How should the Contractor handle these?

The shower should be demolished and removed with the entire structure, and the two lines should be cut off and capped 6" below grade.
