Statement of Work

Knoll Modular Office Furniture

Move & Store

SPAWAR NOLA

To

USDA National Finance Center

OBJECTIVE:

To dis-assemble an array of Knoll modular furniture and accessories at the

SPAWAR facility located at 2251 Lakeshore Drive, Bldg. 3 & 4, which includes

60 SF and 90 SF workstations, meeting cubicles w/door, lateral file cabinets and chairs. Furnishing shall be removed from Bldg 3: Floor 1 and Bldg 4: Floor 1 thru 3, & 5. (See inventory)

Package and transport to USDA National Finance Center warehouse located 4301

Poche Court West, New Orleans or 13800 Old Gentilly Road, New Orleans, LA to be utilized at a later date.

CONTRACTOR SCOPE AND DELIVERABLES:

The Contractor shall provide all personnel, services, and supplies required to comply with the following tasks outlined:

1. Disassemble, package/box and label all furniture by type, size and components

(partition walls, power poles, support poles. screws, coat hooks, end caps, raceways, electrical outlets, etc.).

a. Each package shall be “identified” and visibly labeled “KNOLL”

b. Items palletized shall be shrink wrapped. Contractor to provide pallets.

c. Inventory all items, accessories and components and provide a copy to

USDA, NFC.

d. Remove and package all hardware from work surface/desks, overhead, keyboard, etc.

2. Licensed electrician is required to disconnect power poles, cut wires and cap junction boxes.

3. Furniture of executive type shall be dissembled and placed/palletize together.

4. Guest chairs shall be stacked. Note: Shrink wrap does not apply to chairs

5. Work tables shall be palletized, secured and shrink wrapped. Also, it shall include task lights, 3-drawer pedestals, corner shelf and etc.

6. Provide warehouse inside delivery and placement of all furniture. Government will provide forklift assistance only.

7. Remove all debris and trash from SPAWAR facility. Contractor shall ensure facility is left cleaned, neat and orderly.

8. Size restriction for truck is not to exceed 53’

PROJECTED PROJECT SCHEDULE:

The project must be completed within twenty (20) days After Receipt of Order (ARO). .

1. SPAWAR hours of operation is Sunday thru Saturday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

2. USDA/NFC hours of operation is Monday thru Friday, 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
