Question: Could the government provide some cities from which the awardee would operate?
Answer: The government does not know when or where we need charter services until an event arises.
Question: Could you share an example of a typical mission?
Answer: While not inclusive of every step, generally the government would make contact with the contractor’s 24 hour phone line to start the process, confirm availability and pricing in accordance with the price schedule. The charter provides the time the charter will be on the ground, departure time and
ETA, and our representatives will meet the courier, transfer goods according to the terms of the task order, and the company provides notifications to USDA until mission is completed.
