AG-0116-S-15-0011 South POW Road Drainage Stabilization Questions and Answers
Date: April 6, 2015
1. Question: NFSR 2150000 mp 1.5 has 2 culverts that are buried at this location. We can reshape the road as indicated in the work list but the water will be running over the road without culvert replacement. Will you be adding culvert replacement at this location? If so will we be required to do that within 30 days as well? Can the culverts be provided if that is the case?
Answer: Recondition the culverts during slide removal. If culverts in fact need to be replaced the Forest Service will supply 48” culverts that are stockpiled in the Thorne Bay Sort Yard. If culverts need to be replaced, they will be done at that time, within the 30 days window.
