About this file
This is an Addendum No. 1 to a solicitation issued by the State of North Carolina for the renovation of the Dix Park 1105 Warehouse Drive facility. The addendum provides clarifications and modifications to the original request for proposals for the 2,172 square foot office building renovation project, which includes electrical, mechanical, and plumbing system upgrades. The document serves to amend specific requirements and terms outlined in the base solicitation document, ensuring all prospective bidders have access to updated information prior to submission of their proposals.
The addendum addresses technical specifications, scope clarifications, and potentially revised timelines or requirements that affect how contractors should approach their bids. This modification to the original solicitation is a standard practice in public contracting to accommodate questions raised during the bid preparation period, incorporate additional information discovered during site assessments, or clarify ambiguous requirements. Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum and incorporate all terms and conditions into their proposals to ensure compliance with the state's procurement requirements.
