About this file

This is a Scope of Work document for the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) related to the A94_2026 SMART SCALE program for road widening and improvements. The project encompasses a road segment located from 0.27 miles south of Route 669 to 0.05 miles south of Route 669, requiring contractor prequalification prior to bidding. All inquiries and questions must be submitted through CABB (Contractors Advertisement Bulletin Board). The document outlines the technical specifications, work requirements, and construction standards that contractors must follow to complete the road widening and improvement work on this designated Virginia roadway segment.

The project is funded through Virginia's SMART SCALE program, which allocates resources for transportation infrastructure improvements based on project evaluation and prioritization. Contractors interested in bidding must be prequalified and maintain active communication with VDOT through the designated CABB system for any clarifications or modifications to the project scope. The specific pricing terms, contract award dates, contract duration, and additional financial details would be contained within the complete bidding documents and procurement notices issued by VDOT.
