About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details NASA's Office of the Chief Information Officer's requirement for an AI Leadership Microtraining series under the Digital Academy initiative. The project calls for developing 8-11 scenario-based microlearning modules, each 10 minutes or less, designed to prepare supervisors and executives to lead teams in an AI-augmented work environment. The target audience includes CoPilot pilot users and leadership roles managing hybrid, AI-empowered teams.
Key deliverables include interactive modules with quizzes and assessments, optional kickoff and capstone events, job aids, and support materials aligned with NASA's branding guidelines. The project timeline requires completion within four months of contract award, with monthly interim deliverable submissions. Performance objectives focus on achieving high engagement metrics, demonstrating improvement in AI-leadership competencies, and successfully integrating modules into NASA's Precipio learning management system. NASA will retain full ownership of the materials, and the contractor must obtain explicit written consent for any external reuse.

STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
Objective and Purpose
NASA's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) is seeking to procure an AI Leadership
Microtraining series as part of a high-priority initiative under NASA’s Digital Academy. The series is designed to prepare supervisors and executives to effectively lead teams in an AI-augmented work environment. The target audience includes CoPilot pilot users and leadership roles managing hybrid, AI-empowered teams. This training will facilitate the adoption of AI tools and practices, promoting mission success in alignment with NASA's commitment to innovative solutions.
Scope of Work
The contractor shall design and develop a microlearning series composed of 8-11 scenario-based modules, aligning with NASA's culture and mission objectives. Each module should effectively integrate practical leadership strategies for AI-environment management and ensure accessibility for NASA managers, supervisors, and leaders. The development process shall involve collaboration with subject matter experts to tailor content specifically for NASA's environment and incorporate scenarios reflecting real-world applications.
Key Deliverables
1. Creation of 8-11 microlearning modules, each with a duration of 10 minutes or less.
2. Optional kickoff and capstone events to introduce and conclude the series.
3. Interactive quizzes and assessments to evaluate understanding.
4. Job aids and support materials reinforcing module content.
5. Alignment with NASA branding guidelines and cultural ethos.
Project Timeline
The project shall commence within 30 days following contract award, with all deliverables completed within four months. Interim deliverables, such as drafts and pilot modules, should be submitted monthly for review and feedback.
Performance Objectives and Success Metrics
The contractor must achieve the following performance objectives:
• High engagement metrics such as completion rates and feedback scores.
• Demonstrated improvement in AI-leadership competencies among participants.
• Successful integration of modules into NASA's learning management system, Precipio.
Government Furnished Information (GFI) and Coordination Expectations
NASA will provide access to relevant content, branding guidelines, and the Precipio LMS platform. Regular coordination meetings between NASA's designated project manager and the contractor will be held to ensure alignment and address any concerns.
Special Considerations
All training materials must meet Section 508 accessibility standards and be designed for internal use only. Branding and messaging should be consistent with NASA's established guidelines and mission values.
Ownership/Use Rights
NASA will retain ownership of all deliverables. While the contractor may utilize limited parts of the training for other purposes, NASA retains exclusive rights to the materials, and the contractor must obtain NASA's explicit written consent for any external or client engagement reuse.
This SOW provides the framework for the procurement of an AI Leadership Microtraining
Series and outlines the expectations for performance and deliverables, ensuring compliance with federal acquisition standards and supporting NASA's digital transformation efforts.
