Questions and Answers Regarding Solicitation Number 80NSSC18Q0772

1. Is there a wage determination available? Davis Bacon Rule applies

2. Will the illuminator parts be provided by the integrator, or will the spare Raytec Illuminators be used? Spare

Raytec Illuminators will be used.

3. On the spreadsheet, there are quantities given under “install date” for the spares. Is this the quantity of each part available in the spares? Yes

4. Can it be confirmed that camera 90 will stay in place, rather than being replaced with a P1354? It will stay in place.

5. For cameras with the “Adjust Camera Image” note, may a change order be put in place for replacements if a camera cannot be adjusted by the integrator in a satisfactory manner? We only require documentation of findings, if unable to correct the image quality.

6. For camera 81, the work requirements state “Adjust Night Viewer”. There are trees in field of view, will the integrator be raising the camera? Integrator will install a Raytec illuminator from NASA inventory. Tree will be addressed internally.

7. For camera 80, the work requirements state “Camera Down – No Image – Troubleshoot Camera & Cable”. Will this camera be replaced? If so, will a camera be provided from the spare parts by NASA, or by the integrator?

Please see updated work requirements this camera only requires adjustment to lower view of the horizon.

8. For camera 74, the work requirements state “Camera Replacement (Using Camera #90). As Camera #90 will no longer be replaced, please provide a part number that will be replacing camera 74. Will this be provided out of the spare parts, or by the integrator? Please see updated work requirements. This camera will not be changed.

9. Will the integrator be supplying the programming of each camera, or will this be done by NASA. All cameras will need to be programmed by NASA.

10. For camera 58, the work requirements state “Re-Adjust Viewing Angle – Down – Black out some image – Add Arm Extension”. What exactly needs to be blacked out in this view? Please see updated work requirements.

11. For camera 54, the work requirements state “Adjust Camera Image – Hallway View – Black Out Wall”. Which wall is to be blacked out in the camera image? Please see updated work requirements. Optimize camera quality settings.

12. If it is determined that a camera does not work, may a change order be put in place for the replacement of this camera? We only require documentation of findings, if camera has failed that was not previously requested to be replaced.

13. For camera 46, the work requirements state “Re-Adjust Viewing Angle – Move up – Black Out Images – Add Camera for Extra Viewing”. Can more detail be provided regarding what needs to be done at this camera location? Please see updated work requirements. Optimize camera quality settings.
