A. The USGS in Anchorage, Alaska, specifically the Alaska Science Center and the Alaska Volcano Observatory, has moved into a new warehouse facility in Anchorage. We are in urgent need to obtain racking and shelving materials for this new warehouse location.
B. The entire process will have to be completed in portions as outlined in the work requirements section. The vendor must thoroughly understand the Municipality of Anchorage city/borough codes and requirements, as well as the additional seismic requirements related to the earthquake prone area in which the warehouse is located.
C. The warehouse site is slightly over 14,000 square feet. There are a couple of areas/bays within the warehouse where the shelving will be just two levels per area/bay. Most of the warehouse shelving will be three levels per area/bay.
