Title: Total Service Package (Hardware & Software) for two (2) Government AB

SCIEX QTRAP5500 Systems Solicitation No.: 75N91021Q00123 Amendment No.: 0002 Subject: Question Responses and Extension of Submittal Due date.

This document is to serve as Amendment #002 of the subject solicitation. The purpose of this amendment is to extend the response due date from Wednesday, June 30,2021, to Friday, July 02, 2021 by not later than 12:00 PM EST. Please see attached document entitled “Comb_Synop 75N91021Q00123 (Amendment 002)” for more details.

Additionally, this document will serve as the National Cancer Institutes (NCI) formal response to questions received in relation to the subject solicitation # 75N91021Q00123. Questions are annotated in bold text, with the responses annotated below in blue text below.

Following are the questions received in relation to the subject requirement:

Question #1 – Is remote monitoring required?

Remote monitoring of the two NCI-owned Sciex QTRAP5500 systems is a necessary component of for the lab’s ability to perform mission critical functions. The NCI Clinical Pharmacology Program (CPP) is a central laboratory that provides the full spectrum of pharmacology support to all ongoing NCI clinical trials.

Remote monitoring is expected to be available 24/7 r to assess the status/health of these QTRAP5500 systems at all times, from anywhere, including during off-hours. This is especially critical for when the lab needs to make dose adjustments the next day on a patient. Should a minor malfunction occur, the CPP user will be immediately notified and able to quickly come on-site and adjust the system to correct

it. If a major malfunction occurs, the CPP user will immediately be able to contact hardware support for faster corrective action. This results in decreased instrument downtime, and an overall increase in instrument runtime, efficiency, and ultimately faster sample analysis and dosing decisions for patients on NCI clinical trials.

Question #2 – What is the previous award number, and who was the incumbent?

The previous award number is HHSN261201600430P, and the incumbent supplier is AB SCIEX LLC.

Question #3 – Please clarify the proper Solicitation Number ?

The proper Solicitation number is 75N91021Q00123. The conflicting numbers included in error under section 12.0 questions and quotations had been revised in Amendment #2. Please see attached revised document entitled “Comb_Synop 75N91021Q00123 (Amendment 0002)”.
