RFQ 70Z08423QAA850900 Questions Round 2.
1) PWS 2.2. and 2.2.4 - To clarify as per sections 2.2.3 and 2.2.4 outside of the preventive maintenance parts and labor, the contractor is not responsible for any other cost unless it is approved under modifications and will be paid under CLINS 0013 and 0014 of the Schedule of
Prices. Yes, that is correct.
2) In the Pricing schedule the contractor is required to give pricing for Minor and Major repairs that are to be done under a separate task order. If the cost and price of these are done separately, what is it that we are to price, should not these line items not be removed? The contractor pricing should be based on the estimated number of repair incidents for the CLINs
3) Within the PWS there are 3 classes of mowing that will vary in their frequencies, but they are only 2 CLINS for mowing in the Schedule of pricing. Is it assumed that the Class 1 and 2 mowing will be cut 36 times per year? Please advise. Lawn cutting is based on height not frequency. Please refer to section 2.1 and appendix B and C

8) Will the contractor be required for maintaining the levees in and around RCF New Orleans? No, the levee board maintains them.
9) The levee section located between the transmitting and receiving tower locations is not maintained with a bush hog. Is this levee section the standard/expectation for the cutting/mowing required on this contract? The levee board keeps levees maintained.
10) The fire extinguishers are to be inspected monthly. Is there any direction for annual fire extinguisher certification? Please refer to the appendix F, there is no annual requirement, monthly/quarterly inspections only
11) Contract documents require inspection of the diesel tanks. Are we also required to fill the diesel tanks? If so, how often are these tanks to be filled? No, fuel level is maintained by Facilities Engineers.

15) During the Site Visit, we were informed that certified payroll would NOT be required. Section 1.3 of the Statement of Work requires the contractor to be in "Compliance with all record and reporting requirements." FAR 52.222-8 requires the contractor to maintain payroll records during the contract and for a period of 3 years after the contract. These payrolls are to be submitted to the Contracting Officer on a weekly basis. These payroll records are required to be provided upon request to the Contracting Officer, the representative of the Contracting Officer, and/or the Department of Labor (for audit purposes or otherwise).
