TAMPA DS/AA REPAIRS FY22

AMENDMENT 0001

Response to Questions/Requests for Clarification:

1. On WI 29 (Structural Components, 01 Level, Renew), 10 each deck drains are listed.

What is the type, size, mat ’l, etc.?

Since the 10 deck drains that require renew in work item 29 will be designed by the Coast

Guard Inspector, the sizes of the deck drains can range from 1 ½ to 2 ½”. The material could either be bronze or alloy.

2. There was a page error in the combined synopsis/solicitation on page 2 under REQUIRED

SUBMITTALS: All Required Technical documents (See page 6).

The correct page reference for required submittals is page 5: All Required Technical documents see page 5.

3. The drawings listed in WI-26 paragraph 3.3 were not listed in para 2 or the consolidated list of references. Please provide Coast Guard Drawings 901 WMEC 551-001 and 901 WMEC 551-003.

Please send an email request to the listed KS to obtain the above drawings. Also, please reference the combined synopsis/solicitation page 2 and 3 for complete procedure. In order to access these documents, vendors must be certified as a US or Canadian contractor by the Joint

Certification Program (JCP) administered by the Defense Logistic Information Service (DLIS).

Instructions and procedures for being certified by JCP can be found at https://www.dla.mil/HQ/LogisticsOperations/Services/JCP/. Only those vendors that have current certification by JCP will be able to be granted explicit access to these packages by the

USCG

4. WI-26; paragraphs 3.2.1 thru 3.3 state to include piping, deck penetration, flange, fasteners, gaskets, and vent check valve. Please clarify how much air escape pipe below the 01 level is included for renewal.

There is up to 2ft of air escape piping.
