About this file

This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the United States Coast Guard's initial certification of a 154' Fast Response Cutter (FRC) Docking Cart Assembly. The SOW requires a third-party contractor to conduct comprehensive inspections and provide certification for the docking cart, with all work to be performed at the USCG Yard in Baltimore, Maryland. The contractor must complete all inspections and deliver a detailed certification report within 30 days of load testing, including specific appendices from SFLC Standard Specification 8634, an inspection overview, proof testing documentation, and a professional engineer's signed endorsement.

The related federal contract opportunity is a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order (Solicitation Number 70Z04026Q60362) issued by the Department of Homeland Security's US Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center. The solicitation requires the contractor to mark materials per MIL-STD-129R, use Military Packaging according to MIL-STD-2073-1E, and deliver supplies to the receiving room at 2401 Hawkins Point Rd in Baltimore. The point of contact is Keith Hare, who can be reached at keith.f.hare@uscg.mil or (410) 456-7926, though he is not a warranted Contracting Officer.
