About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding solicitation number 70US0924Q70092559 issued by the Department of Homeland Security US Secret Service for a motorized flexible conveyor belt. The solicitation seeks a motorized conveyor belt that can retract when not in use, be reversible, and have accumulation mode. The belt must be at least 30 inches off the ground, use motorized rollers and wheels, and allow packages to back up and move once the package in front clears. The minimum contracted length is 30 feet and maximum expanded length is 50 feet. The conveyor must be movable on casters or wheels and have adjustable height. It will be used indoors to transport boxes unloaded from a vehicle or floor onto the belt and through an x-ray machine at least 32 inches off the ground. Package sizes range from envelopes under 1 pound to large boxes up to 100 pounds. The conveyor must flex forward and backward and make curves.
