Amendment 002:
Government Responses to Vendor Questions
Number Question Government Responses 1 I noticed on the Schedule B pricing outline that there was a quantity column and a Unit column with a unit price. My assumption is that the pre-filled quantity of 12 means 12 months and that the Unit of MO means Months?
Yes, The Government confirms that 12 MO means 12 months.
2 What is the best way to communicate that it is an annual cost vs a monthly? So something like Quantity 1, Unit AN (Annual), Unit Price:
$XXXXX, Extended Price: $XXXXX
In order to communicate an annual cost, the quote should show Quantity 1, Unit, EA(Each), Unit Price: %XXXX, Extended Price: $XXX.
3 I noticed that there are other line items with a unit of LO. What does LO mean on your schedule?
The Government confirms that LO means Lot.
4 In the Technical Quotation part, 3.1 Qualified Personnel, it says "All personnel shall have a security clearance obtained before working on any task." The language here is rather vague.
There are many different clearances.
Additionally, due to the nature of our work and interactions our current federal government clients do not require this of our personnel. Are there any specifics you can share here that will help us understand the need better?
The Government is providing the specifics below to explain the “Qualified Personnel” language.
Upon award of this contract, DHS will request contractors to complete 11000-25 Contract Fitness/Security Screening Request form. This form is used for contractors coming onboard, upgrades, downgrades, changing contracts and any other contractor movement within DHS.
Contractors need to receive approval from DHS security prior to begin working on a contract.
