Off Center Lodging

Question and Answer session is over. No additional questions will be accepted.

1. Question: Do I separately print and sign para b of 52.212-3 or not. Para b is already on hotel services and price form.

Answer: No, you do not have to separately print and sign paragraph b of 52.212-3. It is on the form and should be filled out on the Hotel Services and Price Form.

2. Question: Can I submit different prices for Different Months? Do I need to submit two different Hotel service and prices form in its entirety or just a price part?

Answer: Yes, you can submit different prices for different months. As stated in the RFQ, “It is acceptable to submit hotel availability dates on a separate sheet; however, the Hotel Service and Prices form must be attached with all information filled in but under the line items a “see attached” and the dates are to be clearly listed for each of the line items (0001, 0002, etc). NOTE: Additional information required to be submitted is to be attached to the form.” Since you would still have to submit the availability for the months you are quoting for, then a separate sheet is acceptable for quoting different prices. If you chose to submit a Hotel Service and Price form for each month; then it is acceptable to only have the first month’s form filled out completely? However, please note that it is also acceptable to fill out the form for each month to ensure that all information is captured correctly.

3. Question: On the form hotel and services and price under the item I , (b), (2) last line said, Except for paragraphs ( there is no paragraph number listed).

Answer: The “except” and blank are on the form. It is hard to see the blank because of the border but it is there. As stated in the RFQ: “…incorporated in this offer by reference (see FAR 4.1201), except for paragraphs ______________.” The blank is for vendors to provide if there is an exception to 52.212-3. Please see the FAR 52.212-3 in full text paragraph B.3 on page 19.

Specific classes with number of students, arrival dates, and departure dates will not be finalized until the third week in the preceding month.
