About this file
This document includes a request for quote (RFQ) from the Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for a mail sorting and singulation technology (MSST) system at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. The RFQ seeks modular and scalable solutions to support CBP's modernization efforts at the International Mail Facility, including a system to batch load, sort, singulate, and process international mail using sensors to identify parcels and communicate with non-intrusive inspection imaging equipment to support routing for CBP inspections. Proposals must also include installation, maintenance, repair, and training services. Offers are due by April 27, 2021. The document provides questions and answers to clarify RFQ requirements.

SOW 3 2
Within the Applicable Documents, the ACE and ATS are managed by the MSST or the NII?
Neither ACE or ATR application is managed by MSST technology. These systems either ingest information from the mail sorter or vice versa.
SOW 4 4
CBP will provide the proposed NII systems…this will be needed in advance of the configuration and integration process as both CT Scan and X‐ray systems are not similar. Please refer to 4.0 requirements paragrpah 1.
SOW 4.1 5
Are there separate decision points within the MSST based on the MSST Requirements section?
