About this file

This amendment modifies a solicitation for construction services. The project involves constructing an extended right turn deceleration lane and ramp entrance into the Fort Lee Visitor Center to serve as a controlled access point and vehicle storage for vehicles entering the Fort. Additional work includes an acceleration lane, pavement demolition of an old right turn ramp, minor configuration of an entrance intersection, drainage improvements, signalization upgrades, and gate controls. The amendment reschedules a site visit for February 6, 2020 and requires any project questions resulting from the visit to be submitted by a deadline of at least seven days before the unchanged bid opening date of February 20, 2020. Certified small businesses will submit sealed bids for the project with an estimated price range of $1 million to $5 million, located in Prince George County, Virginia.
