About this file
This document is a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) and Taste of the Best Catering, LLC (TOTBC), a local catering company based in Columbus, Ohio. The agreement is specifically for cafeteria services at ODOT's Hilltop Complex located at 1980 West Broad Street in Columbus, and was executed following a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP 550-25) process.
The MOA establishes cafeteria service hours from 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for adjustments. TOTBC will operate the cafeteria, with priority given to serving Hilltop Complex employees and visitors. Notably, ODOT has waived compensation requirements for food service items during the initial contract term ending October 31, 2025. The agreement allows TOTBC to prepare food for external programs like school lunch and catering, provided it does not interfere with on-site service. The contract has an initial term until October 31, 2025, with potential renewal options for up to two additional one-year periods, not extending beyond October 31, 2027. TOTBC will be responsible for daily operations, cleaning, maintenance, and ensuring compliance with various regulatory requirements.
