About this file

This document is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration for the procurement of dental equipment and supplies. The VA is seeking brand name or equal products for 46 line items across various dental equipment categories. The solicitation is set aside for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSBs) and requires offerors to submit quotes by September 17, 2024. The government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract. Offerors must provide information on the technical capabilities and quality of the products offered, comply with the Buy American Act and VA limitations on subcontracting, and submit pricing. The government will evaluate quotes based on technical capability, compliance with requirements, and price to determine the most advantageous offer. Gray market or remanufactured items are unacceptable, and the VA reserves the right to enforce contractual remedies if such items are provided.
