Combined Synopsis/Solicitation: 50310218Q0107
SEC Responses to RFQ Questions
1. Could you please provide the incumbent contract number? If not, is this a new requirement?
This is a new requirement for the SEC.
2. Do you want this platform to be open to the public or exclusively available to the SEC.
This procurement is exclusively for the SEC’s use.
3. Is the SEC looking for a simple, non-personalized n online type of subscription for a few dollars a month or does it seek something like a subscription for several thousand dollars a month?
The SEC can’t compare this requirement to other subscriptions/products. The requirements list (RFQ Attachment 1) specifies the data requirements and technical requirements.
I note that the announcement calls for a cots solution of data that is already displayed on a website. My view is that all the data sought by the SEC is not to be found in any single website.
The SEC has done market research to indicate that there are COTS products available that meet all of the requirements.
I also note that a PDF format is sought. I understand then, that the SEC wants the contractor to collate all data asked for in the attachment into a digest of company activities, ICOs, etc from A to Z. No searchable website nor server based database is being asked for, just the data sent out in an PDF email attachment.
Please re-review Page 2 of the Requirements List. The Technical requirements do not specify that a PDF format is required.
