About this file

This is a URS Post-Retired Verification Form attachment associated with the Jordan School District's Invitation for Bid for Security Improvements at Daybreak Elementary in Utah. The form serves as a supporting document for the IFB process, which is being conducted in accordance with the State of Utah Procurement Code (Utah Code Annotated Chapter 63G-6a) and applicable Utah Administrative Rules. The document functions as a verification mechanism, likely requiring bidders or contractors to confirm compliance with Utah Retirement Systems (URS) post-retirement employment requirements or restrictions.

The form is designed to ensure that all bid participants meet applicable state employment and retirement regulations relevant to the security improvements project. As a verification document within the IFB package, it establishes baseline compliance requirements that must be satisfied during the bidding process. This attachment is part of the comprehensive bid documentation that governs the submission requirements, qualifications, and legal obligations of all participating bidders for the Daybreak Elementary security improvements contract.

If it is discovered that a URS retiree failed to report reemployment to URS on its Post-

Retirement Employment form (Form RTRT-27A) in violation of Title 49, the retiree will be liable to repay URS the amount of any overpayment resulting from the violation to report. See Utah code section 49-11-1207(2).

*The retiree is directed to contact URS's Retirement Benefits Department at 801-

366-7770 before beginning work with Jordan District. You will be asked to complete and file a Post-Retirement Employment form (Form RTRT-27A).
