4.) RFI: No Emergency Call response time is provided in the documents provided that we have found. Is there a requirement for emergency response time as a part of this RFP?

March 22, 2021

Response: All government contracts require a one year warranty period for work performed. If a component fails or fails to work as specified during that one year period, the contractor will be required to address the problem as soon as possible. Someone stuck in an elevator is an emergency that must be responded to within no more than an hour. The specifications called out specific elevator contractors approved for this project. Part of their inclusion was the ability to provide these services.

Reference: Specifications 14220

5.) RFI: Will replacement of any switches in the MDP/ Switchgear be necessary for the elevator upgrades?

Response: Motors are changing from DC to AC. Electrical feeders and switches to be evaluated by licensed electrician for appropriateness of use with new motors.

Reference: Motor tag.jpg and SOW V.1 Response 13

6.) RFI: Can an additional Site Visit be held?

Response: Currently access to this building is not being authorized due to unrest surrounding it, therefore, a second site visit is not an option prior to the due date of proposals.
