1. What type of fencing is present, chain link, barbed wire?

There is presently chain link fence with three (3) rows of barbed wire across the top.

2. How many miles of fence are there?

The fence line has not been measured but anyone at the site visit was encouraged to do so when the question came up then.

3. Can you tell me the size of this clearing contract?

If “size” means how much money was budgeted, then no.

4. Will the project value be over $250k or less?

We do not anticipate the value to be over $250k.

5. Do you know what the $ value of the project will be?

We do not give out the government estimate.

Any applicable permits needed from the city, state and or county.

7. Will we be able to work past 4:00 p.m.? Will we be able to work on Saturdays?

No, unless there is some extenuating circumstance, then we might be able to come to some type of agreement on an as-needed basis.

8. Some of the trees to be removed are located in places where it will be safer to move the tree to the chipper, rather than the chipper to the tree, so I would like to know if the current mulch pile area in the Building 3-5 area can be used to set up the chipper and to park our equipment, tool trailer, etc.?

Yes

Past performance references shall be for work similar in nature and size of this requirement. PRICING SHALL BE SUBMITTED AS A SEPARATE ATTACHMENT. NO REFERENCE TO PRICING SHALL BE INCLUDED IN EITHER OF THE OTHER VOLUMES.
