About this file

This document is a Packaging Requirements specification (AFMC Form 158) for federal contract FD20302600807-00, Version 1, applicable to item 6115012652872FW. The packaging requirements are governed by MIL-STD-2073-1 (Revision E) for military packaging standards and MIL-STD-129 (Revision R) for military marking standards, with an SPI (Standardized Packaging Instruction) dated 28 MAR 2012.

The specification mandates strict compliance with United Nations-implemented restrictions on wood packaging material (WPM) to prevent the spread of invasive species such as the pinewood nematode. All wooden lumber, pallets, and containers must be constructed from debarked wood and heat-treated to 56 degrees Centigrade (133 degrees Fahrenheit) for a minimum of 30 minutes. Certification and marking by an accredited agency recognized by the American Lumber Standards Committee (ALSC) is required, with reference to International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM No. 15). Items shall be packaged in accordance with MIL-STD-2073-1 with shipping and storage markings per MIL-STD-129. Shipping containers must be marked per MIL-STD-129 criteria and may require additional marking including unit serial numbers, original equipment manufacturer names, or OEM model numbers as specified on the AFMC Form 158. The packaging specialist is Billy S. Real, contact 405-582-9721, with signature dated 12 JAN 2026.
