Where Honeywell Terms & Conditions are not applicable to your existing contract:

To enable the additional services detailed above we seek agreement that Honeywell may provide elements of the services remotely using an Internet connection and may install additional software and related communication and/or diagnostic devices to enable these services. Our site team will be in contact shortly to discuss options.

Cyber Security Optional Offering

We continue to see Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity incidents increasing at a substantial rate and the challenges faced by the OT teams

(Facility Managers (FM), Information Technology (IT), etc.) continues to be visibility, expanded attack surface, legacy systems, awareness and training. OT systems have a longer life cycle, run legacy technology and have limited visibility unintentionally exposing them to cyber threats. Bad actors are increasingly targeting building systems as weak points in companies’ cybersecurity posture and due to the lack of visibility of system owners’ attacks will be largely unknown.

Through our years of expertise and experience, we have developed an OT Buildings centric cybersecurity assessment to identify these risks in line with industry regulations and standards covering aspects of the people, processes, and technology.

Thank you for choosing Honeywell for the past year. Your contract will automatically renew shortly, and I am delighted to provide your renewal details.

If you will be issuing a new purchase order number, it is important that you supply this information before the renewal date. Otherwise, we will invoice the contract using the existing Purchase Order on the renewal date. Please supply this information by return email to

GlobalContractRenewals@honeywell.com

All purchase orders should be made out to Honeywell Building Solutions – from Honeywell International Inc – our legal entity.

In addition to our existing Services, Honeywell is updating to our new Building Performance Services platform. We are creating new regional support centres to enable our customers and our site based teams to have access to more subject matter experts and 24/7 remote support. Where the installed building technology allows, our new Honeywell Building Operations Centres will enable faster fault resolution, predictive analytics and extended plant lifecycle. To learn more, please refer to https://buildings.honeywell.com/us/en/solutions/services/remote-building-operations.

Where your existing contract is subject to Honeywell Terms & Conditions:

Please note that we have recently reviewed our Terms and Conditions of Maintenance Services, which are available at the attached link http://hwll.co/bps-terms-conditions .Through this contract renewal process, you are bound by the updated General Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of such renewal and as periodically updated thereafter by Honeywell.

We understand you may wish to discuss the renewal options in more detail and would like to take this opportunity to request a meeting to discuss in detail the inclusion of our Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity assessment to highlight the value and assurance this will add to your base service provision. We believe this offer addresses many of the cybersecurity risks associated to the ever-changing threat landscape that exists across many industry sectors and will play a large part in helping to improve your overall security posture. If we do not hear from you, we will continue with your current Base Service Contract.

Please be advised that, should you decline the Cybersecurity Assessment services included herein, we will provide no assistance in the analysis of the physical security of your Operational Technology System and directly connected network including, but not limited to, services related to the identification, protection, detection, response, and recovery of/from threats and consequences arising from cybersecurity-related incidents or other similar cyber-related events or attacks. Upon such election, you shall remain solely responsible for the performance of any and all such analyses pertaining to your Operational Technology System and directly connected network.

Thank you for your ongoing business, and we look forward to continuing being of assistance. In the meantime, if you have any questions regarding your contract or this escalation letter, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Given the financial and safety impact that these cybersecurity attacks can have on your buildings, we are recommending the addition of the following services to your annual support contract:

Honeywell Remote Management (HRM) to help optimize the performance and security of your facility OT systems with regular remote monitoring of health, connectivity, compliance, and uptime.

Annual Cybersecurity Assessment (CSA) to assess OT security stance to identify and recommend mitigation strategies to improve posture.

We are pleased to offer you the following optional additions to your base service contract, subject to your approval and acceptance.

*HRM will be deployed and configured based on the current coverage in place for the existing OT assets. For self-maintained systems access to the dashboard and alerts will be directed towards the nominated customer contact. If you wish to discuss including coverage, please let me know to arrange a full review.
