About this file

This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the North Carolina Department of Information Technology to procure staffing services for the development and implementation of a Disaster Recovery program. The solicitation seeks qualified contractors to provide professional staff augmentation to support the disaster recovery initiative. The IFB establishes the terms, conditions, and evaluation criteria for vendor responses, with contractors expected to deliver staffing resources capable of contributing to both the design and operational rollout phases of the program. Specific response deadlines, site visit opportunities, and any bidder conferences would be outlined in the document timeline, along with the anticipated contract award date and the initial contract term. The procurement may include options for contract renewal or extension based on performance and organizational needs.

Pricing for staffing services should be submitted in accordance with the IFB specifications, with rates typically structured by position level, skill set, or labor category. The solicitation may include set-asides for small businesses, minority-owned enterprises, or veteran-owned businesses if applicable under North Carolina procurement regulations. The document would detail any incumbent contractor information, current disaster recovery program status or gaps, and the funding source for this initiative, which may originate from state IT budgets, federal disaster assistance programs, or other designated funding mechanisms. Additional salient details regarding performance metrics, deliverables, insurance requirements, and compliance with state and federal regulations would be specified in the full IFB terms and conditions.
