1. Although the SOW provides sufficient informaon regarding the objecve of this solicitaon and the criteria(s) for which the performance of the LOTO are to be in compliance with… there is not an equipment list or quanty of the assets that are include in this solicitaon.

List is atached. This project is an inventory, and this list can be used for quong purposes but is not the firm list (up to 10% of assets could be added). Items to be added include the air handlers for the Omaha locaon which are shown below (not included in the 10% menoned above).

Please confirm receipt of this pre-bid RFI and provide comprehensive equipment lists for the Omaha and Grand Island campuses.

2. In accordance with the Contract Documents, the period of performance is ambiguous. The SF-1449 indicates 03/11/2024 to 06/01/2024 however the SOW (page 4-of-58) indicates 03/01/2024 – 06/01/2024. In either case there isn’t sufficient me to site visit the 813,984 sq. at VAMC Omaha and the 253,358 sq. at VAMC Grand Island then submit quesons related to the site condions, and all the other steps back and forth between VA and Contractor.

We respecully request bid closing date extension in accordance with all pending clarificaons and associated execuon me frames.

We can extend the bid closing date aer site visits are offered. See below for site visit informaon. New period of performance reads as 04/01/2024-07/01/2024

3. Per the SOW there are several building sites that are involved in this solicitaon. That said, we respecully request an organized site visit / review at each of the buildings prior to queson submital deadline and/or bid closing.

Site visits can be 3/11 0900-1100 (Omaha), 3/13 0900-1100 (Grand Island)

4. The SOW menons that the general contractor must be onsite for no less than 50% of the work. Does this include procedure generaon acvies, or can procedure generaon tasks be performed from a remote locaon? General contractor should be onsite for 50% of the total onsite services. Procedure generaon acvies remotely are not included in the total onsite services or the 50% of onsite services.

5. For the QR code links for each procedure: 1) Is the QR code itself supposed to link to a file on the internal VA network, or is the contractor supposed to provide hosng of electronic files for linking? And

2) Is there a conngency for areas with litle to no internet access where QR code links would not work?

(i.e., basement mechanical spaces, etc.)

Contractor shall provide all the binder page contents in Microso Word files or some similar, editable format agreed upon by the VA representaves. Once the VA staff have reviewed and approved contractor provided procedures, QR codes can be generated. The QR code should link directly to the file generated off of the VA network. These files (linked to the QR codes) should be public interfacing (ie:

similar to manufacturer’s literature).

6. For the floor plans required to be annotated with asset numbers, will up to date copies of the floor plans be provided to the contractor upon award? If yes, what format will these be provided in?

These files will be provided in PDF.

7. In reference to the subject solicitation, please provide either an equipment count or the number of procedures contractors are meant to bid. The SOW currently does not give the information needed to submit an accurate quote.

Esmated equipment to include are 413 assets between both sites.
