AMENDMENT: A00002 to 36C26218R0502 The following will be added to the solicitation.

B.3 DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATIONS/STATEMENT OF WORK AND REQUIREMENTS

17. UNIFORMS:

The Contractor shall submit photos of all uniforms to the COR for approval immediately following award. The Contractor’s Staff shall wear uniforms with identification of Contractor and employee’s name. Uniforms must be consistent in style and color and be worn at all times during performance of contract. Contractor’s Staff shall present a neat and clean appearance and be easily recognized as the Contractor’s Staff. All jackets and sweaters worn over the uniform by Contractor personnel shall be consistent with the approved uniform. Jackets and / or sweaters without the Contractors logo shall not be worn while performing Services.

ANSWERS

1. Is there an incumbent and previous contract?

Contractors must submit a freedom of information act request (FOIA request) to VA Long Beach Healthcare System or utilize the Governments website FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov to obtain this information.

2. Can the government provide the name of the incumbent and value of the previous contract?

Contractors must submit a freedom of information act request (FOIA request) VA Long Beach Healthcare System or utilize the Governments website FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov to obtain this information.

3. Are the Security Guard I personnel required to work on holidays?

Services provided under a contract from this solicitation will be performed Monday thru Friday excluding, weekends and holidays.

4. Does the government expect a site supervisor to be a person in plain clothes or a uniformed guard?

All Contractor’s Staff shall be easily recognized as the Contractor’s staff.

An amendment has been made to clarify the use of Uniforms and plain clothes.

5. Does the Prime Contractor need to have experience or can the Sub-Contractor have the experience?
Listed under 3.Qualifications:

a. The Contractor shall have relevant experience performing the services required of this Statement of Work.

6. Does the government expect contractors to provide pricing for the Security Supervisor and Program Manager requested in the SOW?
No.A Security Supervisor and Program Manager is required however, the Government is not requiring the

Security Supervisor and Program Manager to be exclusive to this contract.

7. Is there a vehicle required for patrols at the sites.

Please see page 14 of the solicitation.

10. PROHIBITED ACTIVITY:

a. Security Guards are prohibited from sitting in personal vehicles (or any other privately-owned vehicle) while providing security services.
