The purpose of this amendment is to provide responses to request for information (RFI) and to exted the closing date to February 23, 2021 at 10:00 AM Pacific Time.

All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

Question 1: The traulsen Model numbers and BTUs on schedule 1 don't match. What number should I use?Answer 1: Please stick with the model number on the schedule which is FFAP-060Z-TFC-071 (18,800 btu) or equal.

Question 2: With a 50' rise from evaporator to condenser, there should be some sort of oil riser.

Do you have a detail?

Answer: See Attachment Single Unit Cooler Piping for reference.

Question 3: Since there is no parking could we possibly use a room at the hospital to set up our office?

Answer 3: No office or storage space is available on-site for contractors at this time. Parking is available on the local street surfaces. A laydown space will be provided.

Question 4: could you have someone take pictures or a video recording of the areas above the grid ceiling where we need to attach all the posts on the roof trusses for the mechanical units. Answer 4: Please see attachments Labeled B1 1945 D-54, D-55and D-60 Question 5: Will there be any welding inside the building?

Answer 5: You should only have brazing inside, but will require a hot work permit, which is issued by the facility safety office

Question 6: For biding purposes we need to know, what is the farthest distance away from the building to where the crane needs to setup and have the right Crane reach to set the roof units.

Answer 6: Crane positioning is usually determined once the loads are determined. The location is in the courtyard between the south-wing and middle-wing of building. Estimate for distance would be 40 feet or so. Vertical height would be about 70 feet.

Question 7: This question is referencing C7, C7A, C8, and C9: What is the anticipated safest means of access to install to vertical refrigerant piping?

Answer 7: Means and methods are the responsibility of the GC, but one option is scaffolding from below.

Question 8: What locations do you anticipate needing a concealed furred chase for refrigerant piping?

Answer 8: The project requires any piping visible from the street requires a furred chase covering painted to match the building exterior color.

Question 9: 1MH03, please clarify means of supporting refrigerant pipes on low roof? Will chase way cover be needed? Will we be utilizing 1MI01, Detail 8?

Answer 9: GC is required to provide the method of support. Also note the specification for non-structural seismic supports, Spec # 13 05 41.

Question 10: 1MI01 – Detail 3, It says to see seismic bracing drawing. Unable to locate the drawing. Please advise.

Answer 10: The GC should note the specification for non-structural seismic supports, Spec # 13 05 41. The detail is related to the work the GC will have to perform following the above specification.

Question 11: Can you please provide a copy of the price breakdown sheet.

Answer 11: Provided as an attachment to this amendment.
