Question 2: – The contract requires 91.5 hours per week of coverage (those hours we may be called upon to perform radiology services) plus 24-hour coverage for each of the 10 holidays, a total of 4998 annual total coverage hours. To have this quantity of radiologists available to cover this coverage time, we need to have multiple individuals available to accommodate vacations, sick days, weather issues, and any of a number of reasons an individual may not be able to cover a work shift. This will require us to have a large number of VA pre-approved radiologists who are authorized to perform services on this contract.
Is the VA prepared for the offeror to present as many as 20 to 30 CVs and associated documentation and approvals as part of the proposal response?
VA Answer: This is a Performance Work Statement, it is up to the Contractor to propose the number of personnel in order to meet the requirement. See VA response to Question #1.
