About this file

This document contains technical questions and answers related to RFQ 36C25724Q0745 for Dallas Patio Landscape services at the VA North Texas Health Care System. The RFQ is a set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). Key details include:

The VA requires a minimum 2-inch turf height made from recycled materials. Self-leveling concrete is specified for the base, with no grading plan provided. There are no specific drainage or percolation requirements. The VA has existing patio plans and drawings available. The base size for bidding is 1,150 SF, with no allowance for changes after award. The VA requires transition pieces around the perimeter but does not specify the height or start location. Offerors must propose an "AGR or equal" turf product, not similar. Site visits are encouraged to estimate the amount of concrete grinding and base material needed, as no change orders will be accepted after award. The proposed period of performance is a base year only from 8/1/2024 to 12/31/2024.
