Item Information:
1 ALEX Plus Medium Skin Tone includes: Core features, Wi-Fi Tablet, Cloud connected control, advanced speech features, speech requests (1000 questions/day), IrisCamTRecording (1000 Hours), simulation log archive (1 YEAR), Enterprise API for Logs, Physio Events, and Live Video. 5-year warranty with Pre-Shipping Sh. wt. 64 lbs. 2 EA 2 ALEX (PCS) Accessory – Female Kit Medium Skin Tone 2 EA 3 ALEX (PCS) Accessory – IV Arm Medium Skin Tone 2 EA This equipment is for use at DAY VAMC. The overarching purpose of these simulation supplies and training aids is to support and enhance the educational experiences of staff in their continuing education to maximize their ability to care for Veterans.
The Government believes that only one manufacturer can satisfy the agency requirements and intends to negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b) – access to proprietary information.
Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Thursday January 9, 2020, at 4:00PM EST. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
