Amendment to a Previous Combined Solicitation
1. While preparing our proposal response yesterday it was brought to my attention that there may be a discrepancy of the scope of work required for the subject solicitation. Are new cameras to be installed within this effort or is this project to install new Cat 6 cabling and associated hardware to support existing cameras? If new cameras are required are there any minimum requirements on the image resolution (2MP, 4MP, etc.)
No new cameras will be required in this scope. The contractor will be installing cable and connecting to existing cameras.
2. Can we be provided with copies of the building drawings showing the number of systems and where they are located?
See #14
3. Can you provide our office with a copy of the site visit sign in sheet?
Contracting was not present at site visit and a sign in sheet was not created.
4. Is it possible to get a second site visit scheduled?
Due to time constraints there will not be a second site visit.
5. Existing camera system manufacture? Looks like it may be tied into existing system based on the solicitation synopsis.
Not relevant. Cameras
6. Please provide the specs, requirements of the cameras that need to be provided.
No cameras will be provided in as part of this scope.
7. Is there a one for one swap on the cameras? Looks to be 29 cameras, so, will a total of 29 existing cameras need to be removed?
No cameras
8. Are camera licenses or server/storage needed?
No. No cameras
9. Was this a mandatory Site Visit ?
No the site visit was not mandatory
10. Are the cameras going to be running on a guard tour or just motion detection?
Doesn’t matter, you are just supplying the cabling.
11. What is meant on item number 3 corner mount adapters?
? There is a separate contract for cameras and mounts
12. Are the corner mount adapters for the corner cameras or PTZ No cameras or mounts, just cabling and labor
13. Any brand preference (Make) for the cameras?
No cameras in this scope
14. Are there drawings available that you can send us so we can determine the cabling distances?
