1. Can please give us a breakdown of the quantity of lifts by manufacture/model number and location that is on this procurement? Addressed in Amendment 1

1. From the Statement of Work, this looks like a normal Patient Lift inspection with added repairs/parts replacement ONLY if found DURING any of the inspection (these are two different quotes Inspection and Maintenance plus parts) ….is there Maintenance Calls Backs needed for any and all repairs plus parts after inspection? The only repairs that are required are any deficiencies found during inspections…The vendor is not responsible for every repair part and breakdown of each lift throughout the year. Our inhouse personnel maintain the lifts other than completing any PM’s and weight testing.

1. Is this a full Inspection and Maintenance plus parts procurement? Please see above…

1. The SOW also calls for Patient Slings inspection…. this is an accessory and at every other VA… the end user is responsible for the care and use of slings. This is almost like inspecting the hospital bed sheets. We can provide a quote for this, but it makes no sense for the VA to waste funds inspecting and replacing end user accessory slings. The reference to the slings are removed from this SOW and are not included under this contract.

1. If Slings inspection is part of the procurement…for any company to provide a quote, please provide: Make and product number of all slings and the quantity of each product number to be inspected and replaced under this procurement. N/A Slings are removed from the contract.
