Inspector Doug Byrd, Garrett Dupree

Capacity 250,000 Gallons

Style Elevated

Construction Material Riveted

Height 78 feet to low water level

EXTERIOR COATINGS

The exterior surfaces are coated with an alkyd coating system. The adhesion is good on all areas tested. The coating system averaged 12-21 mils DFT in all areas tested. This coating sytem has begun to experience chalking.

INTERIOR COATINGS

The interior surfaces are coated with an epoxy coating system. This coating system has reached the end of its useful and protective life. Multiple areas of blistering and delamination were noted. This coating system is no longer protecting the steel substrate from continued corrosion.

Steel loss will occur. This coating system averaged between 20-28 mils DFT in all areas tested.

SAFETY

This tank has a notched tube safety climb system installed on the access ladder as well as a cage.

This safety climb system is in good condition and functioning as designed. There is a notched tube safety climb system on the dome ladder.

SANITARY

The roof hatch is a square "shoe box" design and was closed and locked. The vent and screen are in good condition. The over flow has a screen in place.
