Sanitary Sewer spec 33 30-00 page 11-12 Item 3.6 (I)

Would you please clarify what the lining of the DI pipe and fittings the spec is calling out? I’m not familiar with term poly-lined in association with Ductile Iron fittings and pipe. Would you please advise what this type lining is?

Poly-lined refers to polyethylene-lined ductile iron pipe. Acceptable linings would be “Polylined” as manufactured by U.S. Pipe or “Polybond” as manufactured by American Cast Iron Pipe, or equal. The Protecto 401 Ceramic Epoxy Lining is acceptable as an alternative.
