Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information and Technology (OI&T) strives to provide high quality, effective, and efficient Information Technology (IT) services to those responsible for providing care to the Veterans at the point-of-care as well as throughout all the points of the Veterans’ health care. To that end, this Converge Virtualization Solution will replace existing system capabilities, allowing Biomedical Engineering subdivisions in seven locations to store Patient Care information in redundant High Available (HA) systems capable of fault tolerance that are compliant with contingency planning regulations, to support clinical application such as Cardiology PACS and Dental PACS, Sleep lab, neurology, radiology and other medical systems.
