About this file

This document contains vendor questions and responses regarding elevator mechanic services at the Perry Point VA Medical Center. The contractor will provide two onsite elevator mechanics to conduct annual inspections and repairs, working with a third-party inspector for annual testing. Additional mechanics may be billable if approved in advance for repairs requiring more than two people. Emergency calls of up to six hours are included at no extra cost, and additional hours would be billable at an hourly rate. The contractor should submit proposals in an appropriate format for consideration.

The related federal contract opportunity is a tiered SDVOSB/VOSB set-aside solicitation for elevator mechanic services at the multi-building Perry Point VA Medical Center campus in Maryland. The statement of work is attached to the RFQ.
