AGENDA
SUBJECT: Site Visit Agenda – Solicitation No. 36C24419B0023
Project Title: Replace Pneumatic Controls
Date of Visit: July 29, 2019 Below is a summary of comments that will be covered:
1.) The project is 100% Total Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business.
2.) NAICS) code is 238220 and NOT 236220 as originally posted.
3.) Bid due date is August 26, 2019 @ 1:00 AM Local Time. No bids will be accepted after this time. A public bid opening will be held in the bldg. 6 conference room at the Erie VAMC, Erie, PA.
4.) Proposals are to be valid for 90 calendar days for acceptance by the Government.
5.) All technical questions must be sent in writing no later than August 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM local time to the attention of Paul Bosak at Paul.Bosak@va.gov.
6.) This project has one sole source item.
· Tracer Ensemble HVAC Controls manufactured and programmed by Trane 7.) Contractors are reminded that bids are to be based on the specifications/drawings; that no changes are to be made as a result of discussions at the site visit unless received in writing from the Contracting Officer in the form of an amendment.
8.) Contractors are advised that they must be verified in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) at: www.vetbiz.gov database at time of bid submittal. See VAAR 819.7003(b) 9.) Contractors are advised that they are required to pay all Federal, State and Local taxes per FAR Clause 52.229-3.
10.) Pictures are only permitted with approval.
11.) Open for Questions from bidders.
12.) Visit proposed campus site for construction.
